Kim Warren

Kim Cary Warren is an associate professor of United States History at the University of Kansas.

Warren's publications include The Quest for Citizenship: African American and Native American Education in Kansas, 1880-1935 (University of North Carolina, 2010) as well as articles on Native American athletics, African American tourism in West Africa, and the persistence of separate spheres ideology in women’s studies. Her research has earned fellowships from the Spencer Foundation/National Academy for Education and the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation.
